Thank you all for the software, the testing, and the mirroring. I've just been informed by my local (un)friendly that my 16 F150XLT doesn't qualify and I'd have to pay for the software in addition to the hub.
Reading through the thread now to see if uninstall is possible once installed if need be.

Extract the zip file to your desktop. Extract the two zip files into folders with their respective names. Go into the folder and copy those files to a freshly formatted fat32 USB drive.
I doubt it. It's usually not an option and v1 isn't downloadable anywhere I've seen. Might be able to do it with a vcm but the update is stable so far. It's a legit release from Ford. Just doing a staged rollout and we are jumping ahead.

Okay, no go for me. Here's what I did:
I followed the directions on the ReadMe file. It said to extract the main ZIP files which produces two other ZIP files, Update File 1 and Update File 2. It says to unzip the first one to the USB drive then turn on the truck and insert the USB drive. The update started and it lasted for around 20 minutes.
Okay, so I pulled out the drive and I deleted the files on the drive and I unzipped the Update File 2 on the drive per the ReadMe directions. I started the truck and I inserted the drive. This time I didn't get any message about any software updating process or anything. I waited for 30 minutes and I pulled the drive. I then got a message that said:
"The USB storage device has been changed or removed. Installation will resume when the device is re-inserted."
So I inserted the drive again and I waited another 30 minutes and nothing happened. What the hell happened???

I thought it was supposed to be formatted into exfat not fat32?

[QUOTE=jdpete11;5085481]Either is fine. Make sure the autoinstall.lst file along with the SyncMyRide folder in the root (\) directory of the thumb drive.
