Current SYNC 3 and CarPlay/Android Auto Information
For those curious, we had a navigation unit owner test this on his 2016 Fiesta ST and is fully working.
Plug it in, turn car on and update will start automatically.

@jm061 - installed the update - You rock my man.

@everyone who is interested in Car Play but not used it before. Like me.
As compared to Sync 3. You will lose the outside air temp, your climate temp info and your home button that resides on the top of the Sync screen.
And you will lose any functionality with Sync 3 until you pull the usb cord out of your phone. Disappointing that there is no back button.
Like others have mentioned you may be underwhelmed by Car Play. YMMV.

Once you have the files on the USB as per the instructions, Just plug it into the truck and it will do its thing.
Thank you JM061 for the hard work you've done. I'm sorry for being impatient and it doesn't mean that I'm not grateful for the work you've done to get us this update. I've been waiting for the longest time for this and bugging Ford forever for it. Just a little overly excited to finally be able to use Android Auto on the screen like I was told the car would be able to when I bought it. Thanks again and I'll back off.
