Here's 2.3 Non-Nav

Downloaded the file took it to the truck and it said it could only be installed on Navigation Equipped. I need the non-nav.

 

That’s for navigation systems. See my comment above; no known 2.3 releases for nav systems (yet).

I haven't personally installed it, but it's from Ford's servers and designated for Non-Nav. It's not for Nav. It's not my link. It's Ford's, and the autoinstall has the following:

; SYNC3 Consumer Assembly Upgrade - Release 2.3.10 - Only for MY 16 NonNav/NonEU assemblies.

 

Interesting. I'll try it on my non-nav. If it works, I'll humbly stand corrected.

 

Hah, no worries. I just know this is what they officially designated as 2.3 Non-Nav for MY 16, but still don't know if it actually installs properly. Hopefully it does. I'll give it a shot too when I get a chance.

Did you get the error immediately? Mine is installing on a non-nav MY 16. Going to wait and see it through but 10 minutes and no errors yet.

I am going to go out on a limb here and say: Are you sure you are trying to install the right file you downloaded? They have the same name (Nav vs Non-Nav). If you previously tried to download 2.3 Nav, your 2.3 Non Nav will be something like JL1T-14G381-AJ (1).zip with the added (1). Non-nav is 2.2gb, Nav 1.6gb ....
