as as an update, since the iPhone has updated to 10.3 (now 10.3.3) I haven't had to log out of Pandora as it does not start on its own as described in an earlier post...

now if if we can just get Waze without jailbraking...

So I loaded the v2.2 update on a USB, plugged it into the truck and I don't have the option for Sync in the menu to start the update. Mine is an early 16 Sync3 v1.0 with nav. What's my next step here? Am I missing something simple or am I looking at a module replacement?

I have a 2016 lariat and I've tried this update on multiple USB sticks but the screen just sits at "updating system software" at the top of the screen.

Does the install work while driving? Because that's when I've been trying it

Where are the links for the download for the Sync 3 2.2 NON-NAV.

All I have been able to find is the nav version. 2017 F150.

Anyone got the download link for the NON-NAV

When using Sync3, but not CarPlay and an iPhone playing a podcast, do any of you notice that when you initially start playing that there are no 30 second skip buttons? If you turn off your truck and then restart and start playing again not having finished the podcast that there are now 30 second skip buttons!!!

This is confusing to me. Is it an iPhone thing or Sync3 thing?

You don't need any module upgrades for Android, but you do need to be on Sync3 version 2.0 or higher.

Make sure you at least have Sync V2.2.

Make sure you have android auto app on your phone.

Turn on the phone bluetooth and allow it to link with sync. Make sure the trucks bluetooth is on.

Once the phone is linked with the sync system, plug the charger cord into the phone, then plug into the vehicle. You may get some permissions on the screen, choose "yes" to all of them.

This all worked for me.
