Nope, but was asking if they'd had any questions considering there were 2016s on the lot with 2.0 on them, their own words.

 

For those looking to order part #GJ7Z-19A387-B: Just called Tasca and the part is on back order with no ETA. Can't even order it until they have inventory. All you can do is call back to see if it has arrived.

Besides carplay and android auto, what are the differences between Sync 3 Version 1 and Version 2, besides remote access?

If I don't need or want either carplay or android auto, or need remote access, what additional functions or improvements would I get?

 

The new version (2.0) contains the following updates:

•Updated voice recognition engine.
•Bluetooth phone, media, and Wi-Fi improvements.
•Navigation user interface improvements (if equipped).
•Android Auto for supported devices.
•Apple CarPlay for supported devices with hardware upgrade.

 

Latest version is 1.9 at the dealer. Dealer needs a new cable and an a adapter according to my service writer. Had an issue with Bluetooth locking up my system and tech was unable to upload the update without that new cable and adapter. After receiving them, the update went right through.

However, the screen in the truck reads Version 1.1 after the 1.9 update.

 

There is no such version of 1.9
