Because 3.0 hasn't been released by Ford yet. It's not an official release.

I think you're right. Everyone that has said has the same problem or has had the same problem has been with non-nav units.

MY2016 non-nav and I'm running v3.0 build 17276. Upgraded from 2.2 and the install went without a hitch. Sync runs perfectly and seems snappier and more responsive than 2.2 was.

Yep, same here as @Theocoog - My v3.0 17276 non-nav has been flawless after following @Cuch's downgrade to v2.2 first. Hasnt had a hiccup and have no intention of rolling it back.

That's not entirely true. V3.0 hasn't begun rolling out to F150s yet but the release itself is "official" from Ford. It is the same install/version that other 2018 models are shipping with such as the Explorer.

Ok, I see. It hasn't officially rolled out as an update yet. It's definitely not an option for me, as far as my ford-owner account is concerned. v2.3 is the only option it gives me to download from the website. But, even that doesn't matter because I can't even get that to work... I'm still stuck at v2.0

my local dealer just got in a 2018 mustang and I went to see the version, it came with 3.0 and build 17276, same as the unreleased one.

Anyone know why there isn't a separate sub control? It seems as if they are lumping the sub into the bass to help the poor door speakers? Maybe the sub is really just a bass woofer? But if it has a separate amplifier you would think you would control of it?

Possibly a Forscan issue?

Does the Raptor have a better audio system with sub? Thanks for the reply!

Sorry, been off the boards for a few weeks. Yes, I rolled back to the official 2.0, then updated to the official 2.2 (which I had as stock), and then successfully updated to the latest version of the 3.0.

So you didn't have to roll back to 2.2 and just installed the official 2.3 on top of your existing 3.0?

I'm on 3.0 without any issues, but Ford is showing 2.3 available for my truck and wondering if there's any reason to install 2.3?
