Just purchased a 2018 KR a week ago. Has version 2.3 with Sync Connect now activated.
Initially I was kind of stoked to find ver 3 here and promptly downloaded it.
But then I had second thoughts. So far everything I've played with in Sync has worked. I'm even getting pretty good throughput on the cellular hotspot, while others are reporting the service not working.
However, the primary reason I suddenly got cold feet was my lack of enthusiasm testing Android Auto. I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm far more impressed with the Sync 3 features and Fords native interface while cruising down the road. And being a heavy Spotify user, I'm not missing much in my opinion.
I do wish Sync would let me voice-reply to text messages though. Sync 2 with Cortana was fantastic at that.

Good to know!
How do you roll back to 2.3? I’m actually a bit tired of the bugs I’m having in 3.0.
I was hoping for the newer 3.0 version to fix all that..
But at this point I’d rather just be on a supported version.

It's my first day
Does anyone know who 4D Tech is? I'm about to buy something from him.
Also, I found this today which is hilariously cheap for anyone who might want their own little stock pile of OEM connectors:

Google Maps on AA. A friend of mine has all his contacts and favorites on Google Maps on his Nexia phone. He told me that when he connects to AA his favorites do not show on the map as locations or dots. Is there a way of doing this? I don't have anything saved on Google nor Waze to see. Any power users out there that know what I am talking about and if there is a way to make it happen?
Sync 3 Ver 2.3 has he.
Thanks
Mike

Well.. the latest build of 3.0 didn’t work and now I have no Gracenote so I get a pop up message every time I start the truck. Does anyone have a link the the 2.3 version and can explain how to revert?

You can't downgrade to 2.3. You'll need to go back to 2.2 then up to 2.3, if that's what you want to do.

It didn't seem to make any difference on mine, but I had such a hard time with v3.0 that I eventually put the theme back to stock to eliminate that as a cause of the issues.
