From what I've read, that error is from there not being enough free space to install the updates due to log files and such. Performing a factory reset should free up the space needed to complete the update. The non nav systems have like 4 gigs of space where the nav versions have 32 gigs.

Ha-ha. And look for location of this guy :-))
Anyways, if you want proof, I have it for you.

Also, there is a 17194 version exists. But some guys who have access to it want some $$$, I don't want to spend it, because there is no information on improvements. I know that 144 gives Android Auto performance gain.

I just logged into owner.ford.com and looked up the Sync version of my truck there. Just to see what version it said I had. After that, it showed it updated. I don't really do anything different, and the reported build hasn't changed. I logged into the owner site again, and just went out and kicked off an update scan. I'm just going to let it run until something happens.

Edit: I went out, turned the key to accessory, clicked update and came back in side. About an hour later, I went back out and the system had turned off due to battery saving. Cycled the key and it shows last check for updates being today. I guess it just needed some time and that master reset.

Thats a good idea. I'll try it when I upgrade to 2.3.

Just as an fyi, software versions are different and dont interchange, meaning if you try to install a russian version of sync on american hardware it will fail. The only way it works is to wipe the apim with oasis/vcm and then do a fresh load as if the apim was new from factory and empty.
