For those of you that have had failures with the install once complete (ie lose voice, gracenotes etc) I am going to suggest installing files one at a time. This will take some time and be a PITA however it just may recover your system. THIS IS NOT AN OFFICIAL FORD FIX.
Open the autoinstall file (non nav used for example) in notepad.
; Gen 3 - Assembly Update - NonNav/NEU - 17011
[SYNCGen3.0_2.2.17011_PRODUCT]

Open1 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-TBB.tar.gz

Item3 = GB5T-14G386-AA

Modify it to do one file at a time:

[SYNCGen3.0_2.2.17011_PRODUCT]
Item1 = HB5T-14G386-TBB
Open1 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-TBB.tar.gz

Do all 6 files like this in the order they are listed originally.

When I did it I only included the "AutoInstall,Delay,Include,Transaction" when I loaded the last file. I believe it is only need on the last load as it includes the transaction file you are supposed to forward to Ford (although the Ford site wouldn't allow me to upload it and confirm...).
ok, here are what my different files look like.

The confirmation file was saved to the flash drive, but when I tried to upload to Ford website it said upload unsuccessful. However, the site did show v2.2 was installed and up to date on 4/30/2017.
Thanks again, and yes having the laptop in the truck made it go a little faster. Just be careful if you do this method that you are doing the steps in order and changing all the Item #'s to 1.

Can you please tell me how to do these resets and if I need to do them prior to trying to reinstall these updates using the "individual files" method? Thank you
