Sounds like you didn't extract it properly and the folder file structure is laid out wrong.

Yes... the part number on the unit is an engineering part number. Not the ordering part number.

DanMc85 is right. Same thing happened to me the first try. I formatted then unzipped to my flash drive. When it didn't work I realized even though I waited for it to unzip the file I ended up with on my flash drive was uncompressed. Reformatted then unzipped to a folder on my computer and then moved the two component files to the flash drive.

Thank you.... I got it to work. Not computer or file savy... but had the upgrade folders within other folders... if that makes sense.

Here's something weird. I just noticed this after updating to v2.2 earlier today. Notice where the dollar sign(s) should be. Not a big deal to me but there's obviously a problem in the symbol(s).

I did the update and it installed fine but don't seem to have CarPlay for some reason. Anyone run into the same issue?

Edit - I did install a new USB hub.

What part # hub did you install, are you using a lighting cable or generic? The more details the better.

Not sure if this is your issue, but click on the apps button at the bottom of the sync screen and make sure that mobile apps are allowed. Forgot the correct terminology.
