I was thinking of replacing my FX4 Off Road sticker on my 2017 with a super-sized gigantic one.... I mean, everybody needs to know! Hehe.
In seriousness, I like the decals. You'll lose value on trade-in when the used dealer has no idea that your truck is an FX4 and doesn't tick that box on the blue book website.
LOL wat? Any competent dealer will use the VIN to book it out.
My dad had a 1986 Thunderbird. He removed the Thunderbird badge off the trunk lid and replaced it with a 'Pinto' badge. He said he came out of a store one day and there was two women standing behind his car. As he got closer he heard one say, "Oh, yea, this is a LOT smaller than a Thunderbird". LOL!
I removed the Sport stickers about a month after I bought mine. I wasn't sure right after I removed them, but now I'm really glad I did. Blacked out the F-150 badges and Ford logos too, now it's looking the way it should:
