You are absolutely right and I am the praying type. I have two little girls that could have lost a Dad. I have been thanking Jesus for saving me. I'm also thankful the other gentleman will be okay. Praise God for saving us.

I'm just a few years behind ya Chief! Glad you're ok! I bet that hug you got from the family lasted just a little longer

I have been a Ford hater for a long time after we had a few lemons in the 90's(Escort and Ranger). When it was time to look for a new truck, Ford wasn't even on my list until I saw the safety ratings. I have a 5 year old and I need the best chance possible to make it home every day and so I went with the Ford. I love this truck and this post makes me appreciate it even more. I just showed the pictures to my wife and she's also glad we went with the Ford. I am thankful that it protected you and that you are able to go home to be with your family and I hope you have a quick and speedy recovery.

I am very happy to see that you are OK. That was a major impact. Geez - the rotor is in the cab.

BTW - love those wheels.

Damn, that was quite a lick you took. I can speak first hand how well these trucks hold up as a guy T-boned me on the driers side at 80km/hr and I walked away as well. Glad everyone is ok. It certainly makes you think about what is really important in life after you go through a major accident like this, I see things a bit differently now, all for the better as well. Hope they get you a new rig soon.

Wow, sdeatherage. That is some lick. Prayers for healing and no lingering physical issues.

I am a first time truck owner and bought my 2016 F150 a year ago this month. Seeing your pictures makes me thankful I considered the insurance ratings on the F150's prior to my purchase. Love my truck.

Wow that is something, glad to hear you walked away and good to know these trucks are built so well.

Question but are the wheels on your truck painted to match? What kind are they?

Congrats on making it out of there intact. I'm used to much more nimble vehicles that are pretty good at getting out of the way more more quickly than a huge pickup truck but I need a truck sometimes, and I like my legs being in one piece would like to not have them worked on again for as long as possible so it's one of the reasons I bought one of these things instead of another beater truck for such duties.
