I just got done replacing the hinge bracket on mine. The top hinge pin broke off. I wouldn't say it was overloaded but i went ahead and took out my hitch and my hitch mounted recovery hook to lighten it up. FYI the bracket set was $64 +13 shipping, granted this is both brackets and the nut/bolt bag for one side. Sucks since i just needed the hinge bracket and not the latching bracket.
