Crack in the exhaust?
 

Is this a crack or broken weld in the exhaust? Or is it supposed to be clamped together or something? Noticed black powdery stuff on the driveway.

That's normal. It leaks a little until warm.

I have similar powdery stains in my driveway but in circles. I made a thread about it but never found the cause. I'm glad I'm not the only one. Let me know what you end up doing to fix it. Everyone told me it was normal.

I'm at 35,820 miles. I'll be taking it to the dealership TOMORROW. Just in case.

It is normal. There's a hole so that water from the exhaust can drain out when the exhaust cools off. If water was allowed to puddle up in there over the course of a lot of short trips that don't get the exhaust hot, it would rust out more quickly.

Yep, same issue with mine. Notice it most when doing the remote start to warm it up on cold mornings and it sits running for about 10 minutes. Never noticed during the summer months when I never did the remote start.

Condensation no worries . Next time you are on a safe ,free of traffic road slow too 20 mph stand on the gas and let the horses run. Repeat when needed.

If you would run ethanol free gasoline there would be much less black in the exhaust system and it would run clear

I know when I started running it I no longer had to clean the black off my chrome tip once a week.

I know it can be hard to find some places like Chicago but in Florida it's on every corner it seems.
