^the latest GM trucks have been out since July 2013, so of course by now there will be bigger discounts. I already see 2015 F150's for $7 to $8k off, is that an embarrassment for Ford too? No, it just shows how much all these trucks are overpriced and they make so much profit on them even after selling them at a great discount.

I've read about the GM vibration problems too. But F150 certainly has some vibration/shudder problems too along with Ecoboost issues too, just check out the Sticky threads in 09-14 subforum.

LOL
Not really competitive....what does that mean?
Seriously
Some would say Ford isn't competitive in V8s
What about warranty?
Whatever dude....

I hope the Gm incentives will put pressure on Ford to add more too. Right now I can get much more truck in the Sierra than I can in the f150.

I am not up to date on the current GMC incentives because I decided on ordering a new 2015 f150, but before I decided for sure I was tracking the GMC rebates. In my area at least the 214 rebates were a based on giving everybody gm employee or supplier + some additional credits. Therefore if you already had those discounts or negotiated a near invoice price it was at most a $1500 incentive. That's not enough for me but it sounds like a big number when advertised,

You're trippin; in my area the new GM trucks are selling like hotcakes. There are already 10x more Silverados on the road here than ANY other truck (not exaggerating)..and now with the new gen models that statistic is more true than ever. Its already to the point where now I see a '14-15 Silverado every time I walk out the door. Haven't seen any '15 F150's though. Tons of ford haters in my area.

My main question is whether I am getting more reliability and better resale with the Ford to justify the difference.
You put it out there. Not being judgmental at all. Just making an observation based on the information you provided.

Not to sure if this helps the OP but my uncle just purchased a 2009 Yukon Denali with under 80,000km for $20,000 Canadian taxed in lol. Bought it from a dealer and they included the original window sticker and it was just over $80,000 lol lots depreciation there!!!
