Default Cord inside Grill of 2017 F 150

I have a 2017 F 150 Lariat. I've noticed a cord just inside the front grill that appears to be very loosely connected. Anyone have any idea what this is for? Assuming a power accessory for a potential light bar or camera? It has a sticker that reads fl3t-14b242 attached to it if that helps. Thanks.

14B242 should be ambient air temperature. Being a '17, its connected to your outside air temp sensor. In mid 18+ it should have a loopback and is just still hanging out there but yes, its connected pretty loosely.

May be for an engine block heater.

Possibly the power wire for the active grille shutters.

Are you talking about this. Or a household looking plug in lower grille. I the one pictured its ambiant air temp. Lower grille block heater.

Did you post another thread on this subject but had diffrent pictures?

If not, there was another post yesterday with explicit direction, like you provided, with a part number but then followed up with a long-#$$% trail plug connector pictures.
Wondering if I am confused (like usual)

Really hard to see but I maintain my initial answer that it's the ambient air temp sensor. The part number you provided matches that of the AAT and the colors of the wires you posted now appear to be correct as the AAT wires should be green-blue and yellow-violet.
