Air condition seats. Bottom works back rest is Hot!
So I've been following all these posts, I have the exact problem with my 2015 F150. Taking it to the Dealer next week. Anyone have a suggestions on what I should say to them first or play dumb and see if they already know about this problem?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I would complain about the extreme heat being generated at the back of your seat, caused by the exhaust from the TED unit.

LONG TIME FORD GUY
Well at least some progress is being made... They need at least 548 fixes on this forum alone and who knows how many more in the owners not on here or other platforms, this and changes to the build line. these parts may be hard to come by early on so we may have our cooling seats by next summer. If it took 4+ months to get a park assist switch in because of back orders imagine how long it will take to outfit every 15 with the lumbar cooling seats TSB mod.

I left a post on the Ford Trucks Facebook page too, with a link to this thread.
Maybe if a few more people chimed in, on as many 'social media' sites as possible, we'll get some traction.
Off to 'social.ford.com' next.

You're kinda late to do that. They already have a fix coming for it as mentioned in the last several posts

Anything else is bull****. If nothing else, my post to their FB page and social.ford.com, will give them an opportunity to trumpet their solution to the world.

My F150 Platinum should be delivered within a week or so.
Having a few minutes to spare today, when I was close to the dealership, I stopped by to speak with them. The sales manager had not heard of the issue, but we drove one around for about 15 minutes. Of course it had the exact issues listed in this thread. The seat bottom cooled nicely, and the back cooled very little if any. The rear of the seat-back was very hot inside the back pocket. The sales manager called his engineering contact and left a message.
I am glad to see Ford is working on a solution.
Also, I stopped by the GMC dealership as well, and drove a decked out Denali HD. While the seat-backs in the GMC do cool a bit better, they are certainly nothing to write home about. The Denali did have a plastic seat-back, with 2 vents as shown earlier in this post. Similar to the F150, the seat-bottoms were noticeably cooler. In fact, I'd say 90% of the cooling is going on in the seat-bottom of the Denali and 10% in the back.

Bad design, and from what I'm seeing, there will be a fix made available. But for them to say it's normal, is bull****, and a 100% cop-out.

I am sure people that know the truth are sworn to secrecy but come on! Still surprises me how much time it took for them to do anything. Plus who knows how long it will take to get parts!
