Yeah, neither of those things will happen.

Those things happen everyday. I know people they have happened to. Big business gets many of its ideas from non corporate individuals because it is easier. Corporations have lawyers which makes little people easier to screw over.

Now I don't know anything about this design or how Ford will handle this situation.

If you every have an idea that you even think could be a good one, get a patent and maybe visit a lawyer before asking the big companies to look at it. Patents are pretty cheap.

One thing is for certain, Ford screwed the pooch on this design. The TED in the seat back has the exhaust 3-4 inches from the intake and it puts out lots of HOT air. There's no way for the exhaust to escape the seat back so it gets sucked back into the TED. After 5 minutes of operation it simply can't overcome all of the trapped heat.

I think that! The 2014 seats must fit in our trucks.... As for sure all the 2015 truck prototypes must of been fitted with them and no one even tested the 2015 seats before they went into production. As no one that drove a truck with these crapy seats would like them. And I'm not just talking about the cooling as the head rest is a dumb design it doesn't go back far enough and the seat it's self is not comfortable.

Default heat will cause discoloration

That's no dust my friend...that's constant (over 120 degree) heat, for over 2 hours at a time, causing discoloration in the leather type material.

Others need to keep an eye out for discoloration as well. Ford will have to replace this seat cover.

I own Odin Hunting and have been working through selling product rights off and know all too well what it takes for a patent. Talking with the BIG guys sure gets interesting and on a project like this I can rock out a design and test it so much faster because I don't need 500 meetings and 100 signatures first!

Hopefully we can just get this addressed so everyone can have the features they paid for!

Looking closer now it definitely means new seats for you. I wonder why FORD isn't having the TEDs temporarily disconnected so we don't mess up our seats while they fix them!

Ford would have to admit there was an issue first...and it seems when anyone mentions it, all they get is

8/1/15 is my appointment, and I'm opening another new case for the seat discoloration due to the TED exhaust, hopefully things will get resolved sooner than later.

Where did you come up with the idea that the seat back backs are real leather? Or did you just forget to put "fake" in front of leather?
