Hello there. I just registered here on the site and we are following this on Mustang6g and we have the EXACT same problem with our seat back coolers on the 2015 Mustang. I will include a link to our thread. Misery loves company so to speak and there is strength in numbers. Please feel free to check out our findings over there as well. We are in the same boat unfortunately.

Here is the link. Hope that can help us on both sides.

Warning… it is a long thread there as well, but not as long as here.

Unfortunately we cannot unzip our seat backs to allow free air flow to and from the TED. One of our members has had some limited success rigging up an intake tube for the TED in the seat back. Not sure about Fusion or Taurus but we ARE experiencing the exact same problem as you all here.

Found this on a Fusion forum today. Sounds familiar if you ask me.

Will see if I can find any on the Taurus. Not sure if the Fusion rear/upper TED is the same as the F150 and Mustang ones though.

In early march they deleted the seat options on the MFT screen. They took them off around march 10th or so because there was some kind of glitch in the software.... mine was built march 12th and did not come with them... Hmmmm maybe that's why the cooling seats don't work very well

Anyone with a build date earlier than March with the MFT option having this problem? Currybob has said his work fine and his was built 2 months before mine and has the option on MFT..... Just spitballing here

Hey Tex!! Hows your truck doin!

Started out working fine but in a thread awhile back I stated mine is doing the same. The back is not getting hotter like some but you don't feel hardly any cooling like it did when I first got it.

I received mine 1/8/15 and the seats stopped cooling the back. I still have the seats shown on the screen.

It's not that big a deal to me. Cools my butt great when I want it and then it does have air conditioning. I do want it to work, heck we paid for it but I don't get all worked up about it. The sheer comfort and bells and whistles out the butt, whats not to love, right.

Loving this thing for sure!

Driving back from the east coast yesterday, with my daughter in the back seat. She said she could feel the heat coming from the back of the driver and passenger seats, and both seats were so Hot it felt like it they were on fire! We had the seats on for about 45 minutes. We just turned them off. Can't wait for the TSB to come out!!!
