More important to get the exhaust air out of the seat back then worry about a little drop in the volume.
Don't understand why you are having problems getting it through the hole when others have been able to do it.

Has anyone heard anything from Tim lately? I ordered (and my card got charged) a couple of months ago, but I never got a confirmation or the goods, and no response to a subsequent email inquiry. I don't need it right now, I'm not in a rush, just wondering if he's active.

I will give him a call today and catch up..... he is a great guy!

While I am on this thread, has anyone experienced the 2018+ ventilated seat redesign and can you compare it with the pre-2015 and/or 2015-2017 TED performance!!??...very curious about your impressions and/or metrics....smile....

Also, I think it is about time to condense this sticky again (5,400+ posts!) as I did several years ago....kinda like I recently did for the "Frozen Latch" sticky.... keeping the thread open for posts but netting all the status/findings plus links to Tim's kits and to all the old posts into a Post #2... after the Moderator does his magic on the first post....

Does anyone/everyone agree to my doing this on our behalf...??

So many moons now since Tim and I worked with Ford on the original "Cooling Seat TSB".... smile.........AZPLAT

I'm in the same boat. Ordered my kit about two months ago, and have not received it yet. However, I have been exchanging emails with Tim. I know he had some personal things that came up that put him behind on filling orders. I think he was trying to catch up over Christmas time when he had some time off. As of last night, he was double checking on my order for me, as he thought it had been sent out.

I'll update when I hear back from him, but I'd suggest shooting him a message through his web site, which is how I have been able to stay in contact with him.

I received my new kit just after Christmas. I had ordered a day or few days after the notice he had some kits to send out.

So I'd wait, I am sure he will be sending it out.

I ordered a kit a couple of months back when he was running a sale. My card got charged by PayPal but I didn't get a kit. I got his attention after a couple of emails and he sent a kit.

I'm under the impression this enterprise no longer has his full attention due to the drop-off in activity, since people are no longer buying affected trucks new.

All orders are boxed up and labels on them. If you have not seen your tracking number hit your email please email me. I had some orders come in that didnt pull over to my shipping software for some reason.

Got a chance to check out a 2019 F250 platinum. First thing I did was turn on the cooled seats...they are def worse than the 2015 to 17 with tims kit....Sucks we dont have cooled seats as good as the older model but still better than the new!

And following up on my where's Tim post, he got back with me and sent my kit. Looks like fun stuff! I'll get it after it when skiing and fat biking season is over.

I recommend checking your seats. I have had this installed for a bit over a year and it has eaten through my seat skin. The metal and screws are constantly rubbing the material and eating through the seat is inevitable. I opened the seat and also found that my "kit" has exploded. Perhaps this is an early run issue or something else. In any case, I now have a hole in my seat cover.
