Perhaps the seat related problems became apparent some time after delivery?
The test drive was not long enough to reveal the problem, and honestly I don't remember if I tried them on the test drive or not. I didn't try the horn or wipers or headlights either but I assumed they worked.

Can someone give me a quick summary of this thread. It sounds like a fix is offered by ford but it does not really work. It also sounds as if the heaters are not working properly. My seat does not cool and I do not really notice much if any heat. Is the heat related to the cooling?
Thanks for any replies.

and didn't realize about cooling prob till after I read this

and YES I would have refused delivery of truck, but I think all the trucks have seat problems, some might just be ignorant to the problems.

I wanted a Tundra, wife wanted the Ford
Good choice on a couple levels. A happy wife is a happy life!

Owners state seats don't cool - Ford says there is no problem.
Owners state seats get extremely hot by map pocket when cooling - Ford admits a problem and offers a solution.
Owners state seat solution doesn't work.
I'm waiting for more positive reports and till summer comes around before I have anything done to the seats.
My seat heater works great!

My seat heater works great too, that bitch gets freaking hot......But I have NOT had the TSB done and I suspect if I did the cooling would still suck and the heating would be diminished as others have reported.

Haven't tried my seat coolers yet, but my seat heaters do not work well. It's very minimal even on the highest setting. My suburban seat heater gets very hot.

16 KR build date 10/26

Very disappointed

Not as cold as you but it was 42 the other day at 3 am and I had to turn them down to the middle setting after about 10 minutes.

When will ford step up and fix these seats. Sounds like a 2016s heat does not work all that great. I want a raptor or a lariat next fall, but I'm afraid that the seats will still not work right. This is really sad.
