So, this damage only took 22 days?????
Drivers side still looks good. Not sure why the passenger seat turned and not the drivers side....maybe I need to double check it.

I'm taking it in to service on 8/1/15, and will let y'all know the outcome.

Did the extra ventilation work?

It helped somewhat...but the heat eventually deformed the material I used...

FordService, I'm happy Ford is issuing a TSB for a flat snorkel to help with the exhaust...but what about the massaging seat feature that is crushing or collapsing the cold air flow duct into the seat back? Are they addressing this as well? Do you have any additional info you can provide? Are we keeping you busy

I've got no cool air coming from the seatback, almost feels like it actually heats up when the seat bottom is being cooled. Sorry for not reading 103 pages of the thread but wondering if there is something to this that Ford knows about? The poll has an option for "waiting on replacement parts" dose this mean the problem is identified and can be fixed?

More than likely, your duct has come loose. Do you have massaging seats?
The exhaust from the TED unit in your seat back is heating your seat.

Ford is aware, but you need to take it in to the service department for documentation of said problem.

As far as I know, a TSB will be released when updated parts are available.

I do not have massaging seats, interesting to know about the duct though. I'll bring it in for service.

Technically FORD has not officially released any sort of acknowledgment saying a fix is coming. Some people inside FORD saw something posted it and got their hands slapped for doing so.

I am assuming Ford is working on something but they don't even have the curtesy to tell us such. Honestly with the temperatures these things produce and the statement of one individual in this thread about feeling like he got burnt... I have no idea why FORD has not issued a TSB to request all F150s that come into the shop to have the seat back TEDs disconnected.

I know some law and I know that Ford is aware of the issue and if someone gets hurt or a fire is started a good lawyer will go after them for willfully allowing it to happen.

I am not trying to point fingers or cause a big stir but at least send out a memo to make sure no one gets hurt or their truck gets messed up. I am pissed it doesn't work. I am pissed they have had months to fix it and haven't. But if something else goes wrong because they wouldn't own up the the issue and politely inform us that they know and request we unplug the TED...it will get ugly and I know there are a lot of us in the same boat.

Lumbar adjustment may also pull the duct off the seat...not sure.
