I'm worried. I've never had a dealership ever own up to the existence of a TSB until I showed them a printed copy. I don't want this fight again. Did it 5 times with a Jeep Liberty and 8 times with a Toyota FJ Cruiser, all for major problems. Problems were always denied as "couldn't replicate" unless I would ride with them. Then, existence of a fix was always denied until I would produce a TSB that had already been out for many months.

This is my first Ford, and I don't want to go through this kind of back and forth again. Just a fix please. Just a fix - without all the secrecy and denial. The problem is super obvious and other folks on here already have their dealers claiming there is no problem even as the people testing it can feel their backs burning in the seat while they deny the problem.

I just need a place I can get the TSB ahead of my first visit for repairs and I hope this is that place.

Yea this is the first truck I ever own that had leather seats and all...

When I bought my 2014 XLT Ecoboost. I did not have to bring it to the dealer not one time for anything...

But this 2015 Lariat has been in once already and going back for a new cowling for that stupid seal and not the seats and all the rust on the bottom...

I will give them a few chances to make it right if not I will most likely be done with ford. When I was young and in high school and then the Air Force I always drove a Toyota Truck and just loved them. I would not have a hard time going back. I would not have a problem trading this truck in for one. It's only money and life goes on.

It would probably look pretty bad for a brand new 2015 Ford F150 sitting on the Toyota lot for sale... I have the time and resources to make that happen if I need to. I would probably pocket some money on the deal also.

As soon as I see a TSB come through OASIS I will post it up. I check for new ones every day when I get to work so we will see how long it takes to officially release one.

Are you talking about the little rubber seal in the middle between the two cowl pieces? Mine is sticking out at both ends...ridiculous. Why they didn't design a single-piece windshield lower cowl like most everyone else, I'll never know"

Just got mine back from service and as others have stated got similar results. Although, I do have confirmation that they called the hotline and that its been "documented".

Here's to hoping the TSB is on its way.

On another note, for some of us:
Winter is coming... LOL

There has to be a TSB on it's way... Don't forget it's not just us F150 owners. It's F250's, Mustangs, Fusion, Etc Etc...

I work with a guy that just bought a brand new F250 Lariat and his seats do the same thing. This is gonna cost Ford alot of money in the long run and it's gonna take forever for them to make everybody that complains right.

My wife and I were thinking about trading her Honda CRV for a Ford Edge and I know she likes to have leather seats... Not gonna happen now... Gonna stay away from Ford for a while don't want to have two problem child's.
