I notice that alot of owners voted they have issues but a very small amount got parts ordered or did anything according to the survey.

Is this correct or just complaints with out giving the dealership a chance! Not trying to be a dick just want to know if other dealerships are not trying to fix what they sold you. I can't believe it's ford not wanting to fix it since my dealership is trying.

You can only vote once on this survey. Ford came out with a fix and that is the TSB. To be very very clear the fix that Ford came out with was to fix the hot spot created above the magazine pocket on the rear of the seat. The TED unit was blowing hot air directly at this spot on the leather and it caused very localized hot spot.

To say in another way so it is clear. FORD fixed the hot spot HAZARD on the back of the seat near the magazine pocket. They did NOT fix the poor cooling issue with their fix.

Exellent explanation of the situation, my seats warm just as my 14 did. So new blower motors won't fix the back seat issue from what I'm understanding.

That is correct. The TSB will not drastically improve the air flow (hot or cold) that comes through the seat to your lumbar area of your back. Some owners (myself included) have noticed that the sock kinks and then restricts the air flow.

The fix that I launched have hard pipes that can not be kinked. I also ducted the exhaust and intake to the exterior of the seat cavity. Ford's fix only sucks in fresh air and allows the hot exhaust (when in cooling mode) to be trapped inside the seat which over time raises the seat cavity temperature and causes the cooling to be diminished.

On another note the sock that Ford came out with is directly above the floor vent for the HVAC system. If you have hot air blowing on your feet the TED for seat cooling sucks in this hot air and can not overcome the temperature to produce cool air on your back. (I like air temp warmer and seats cooler personally).

Cool, what's the cost of the system you recommend and is this something I can get my local dealership to install?

I had a chance to run mine more than 15min on a hot day, more like 3hrs on a 90 degree day, the seat back was Hot the entire time and the setting was on HI. I could feel the seat lower the entire time.

I'm going to try one of his kits and see how it goes. I have not had mine to the dealer and it's a '15 scab

Did you order yet? I am going to be doing a big shipment push this weekend. Might be able to squeeze a few more out by then.

Just ordered my kit. I just hope I can get the j channel free without tearing something up.

I get occasional cool air from the seat back at less than 70F ambient, but the seat back will still get hot after 20-30 mins. The seat bottoms have always gotten very cold.
