I'm looking at a November built 502a and was wondering if they have fixed this in the late year builds or if I'm better off waiting for the 2016s. Anyone with a late 2015 or early 2016 build that cares to chime in.

If they have the new white socks, you will be able to see them looking at the bottoms of the seats from the rear seats.

Default white socks on a '16 F150

The socks are there but the seats heated and cooled poorly

As far as I'm concerned, this fix relates only to the lumbar overheating. It does nothing to fix the poor cooling.

Then your truck is uptodate and working as designed so it's normal. There are a few out there that actually have been reported as working good which means they are not working as designed or normal.

I think this fix was safety related to the seat back back getting to hot. Not to how poorly they cool or heat the sitting area.

I wouldn't even bother with a class action lawsuit. The only people that make out are the attorney's..

Was in a class action lawsuit with a 2005 Honda Odyssey with Michelin PAX run flat tires and received $65.00.. Didn't even cover the cost of putting in a spare tire after I bought regular wheels and tires.

Anyone who thinks a class action lawsuit will do or get us anything is not very informed of the process.

Count me out-I'll try Tim's fix on my own dime. Don't want to but anyone that has read the last 30 pages or so of this thread sees that the dealer tech does more damage to the seat than good (and it still doesn't cool). Rant over.
