It's getting cold here in the Panhandle of Texas and my A/C seats may not work very good, but man the heater side of them work GREAT! Both driver's and passenger's seats. My butt and back have never been more toasty. They're sure going to make surviving the winter much more tolerable!

Side note, it's weird that the seat backs don't get hot when the heater's on but they do when the A/C's on.

Oh, well. I'll worry about the A/C come about next June!

Why would they, they now have cool air blowing in them.

Had my truck in today to have the ACC recall taken care of.

I told the dealer my seat backs did not cool and showed them the TSB. Until reading the issue here on the forum I had thought that the seat backs did not cool, weren't supposed to like the seat cushion. The seat backs DO NOT COOL.

The technician reported they were "Working as Designed."

He also told the service writer they were blowing "ice cold." When the service writer told me this he then quickly mentioned, under his breath, that Ford was working on fixing the issue.

I'm beyond pissed with the way the dealer handled it. I don't think they're going to like the letter I'm going to write and the Service Survey I will be filling out.

Really upset ATM.

Just to let you know, while writing your letter will let you vent, Ford wont care. Been there done that!

Un-freaking believable.

The CSM "only authorized" my dealer to repair the driver's seat. They didn't/wouldn't apply the TSB fix to the passenger seat.

I have already made an appointment at a different dealer.

Can't tell you how disappointed I am with Ford customer service, and with Herb Chambers Ford of Westborough, MA. Yeah, I'm calling you out.

I had the same experience, waiting to go back in 2 weeks to have passenger side done. That train of thought is so asinine.

Survey filled out. My dealer has had my parts for the TSB for about a month. Because I've been traveling I haven't had time to get in, now I'm glad I waited. I would rather pay for my own fix then get a "free" non-fix and have messed up seats. Keeping my fingers crossed that Tim will have a fix that we can purchase.

I appreciate the follow up. I will give the dealer one more chance to fix this properly, and then follow up with you if needed.
