Got mine done. Works perfectly. Met with the tech and he said this was the first one done at this dealership (Prestige Ford Garland, TX) and he said it was a very straight forward undertaking. The service manager is going to have his done next.
Thanks guys for helping them get this done. We are all indebted to you.

Little more time to evaluate TSB
So I've put about 200 miles on my truck since having the TSB done on the seats.
I seem to fall in line with the common consensus- it's a 100% improvement, but yet overall the design meets only about 60% of my expectations when purchasing.
The seat back does (finally) cool for the first 15 minutes or so... then, as the seat bottom continues to cool, the back stops actively "cooling" and maintains a similar cab temperature (to the touch, I don't have a way to actually measure.) The good thing is, after a near 60 minute drive, my back was no longer sweating as it had previously, however there was a noticeable discomfort as my *** was freezing compared to the rest of my body.
Not happy nor satisfied with the final product, but content for now. At least it's usable in limited duration for a quick cool-down, but the whole system needs a redesign to be considered a "feature" of this vehicle

So I dropped mine truck off Friday morning to get both TSB's done. Get a call in the afternoon that the transmission TSB was done but my parts for the seats are on a country wide back order. Parts aren't available till the end of October. First why didn't tell me that when they called Thursday to confirm my appointment, or when i was there to drop off the truck. I wouldn't have wasted my time or anyone's time that picked me up and dropped me back off. I'm a little Pissed!!

Survey on seat cooling after TSB
TWakefield and I are working to get a survey put together to quantify the actual experiences of Forum members.....all owners......regarding the experience and satisfaction with the TSB to date. I think we can demonstrate that although the TSB solves the seat heating issue and provides improved & constant cooling....e.g. "100% improvement over as delivered", folks either are not satisfied with the cooling improvement, are happy with TSB results, are waiting to get TSB installed (e.g. waiting for additional improvement fix, waiting until hot weather, etc.)....we want to assess in a survey fashion the % spread of your responses vs. just posts.
As to the parts backlog, will talk to our Ford contacts and see what is UP with that and if "end October" date being given is accurate!?
I checked with Moderator to see if original survey questions can be updated to reflect TSB stuff and sadly they cannot. Poll with new thread only. I hate to start a new thread just to get a survey that will still not get the job done, but hopefully the Google survey TWAKEFIELD is crafting will give us some up to date data on TSB-related experiences.....and allow you to update your survey response if you later GET the TSB applied, or the TSB worked initially then stopped cooling.....or whatever. The unique key for the survey responses will be your VIN # to avoid duplications, etc.

I would be pissed also. They ordered my parts by me just emailing them and they had them in for me for a few weeks now waiting on me to bring it in.

Didn't know I had a problem until I came to the forum and found this thread! Took printed TSB to Park Cities Ford and service adviser hadn't heard of the issue but he checked to see of the part was available. He said it was on nation wide back order so I'll guess I'll wait a few weeks and just call the parts department and ask them to check the availability of the part number, as if I was just a customer looking to purchase a part.

Had my truck in on Friday. They evaluated both seats and said they ordered parts. They will call me when they come in. An interesting side note when I got in the truck they left the elastic straps undone on the drivers seat. I put on the cooled seat and could feel cool air coming through. This is definitely a flow issue. Hopefully this snorkel will solve the problem. I doubt the seat back will ever be as cold as the bottom though.

I can setup a google forms for free.
I need help with what we want to capture from the form. It will ask for email address, VIN, year make model etc. I will tailor it for any model not just F150.
I think I can have it skip questions based on answers (example won't ask how happy you are with TSB if you respond not installed yet)
So are we doing just seat cooling or other questions/TSBs as well? Sunroof leak? Etc. once the survey is live no changes so has to be setup right first go.

How about the ACC problem? I am having a Ford Engineer out tomorrow to address it. While he is here, I hope to talk to him about the cooled seat too. I had the TSB done and like most other people looking at where we started this is a step in the right direction, but still falls short of my expectations.

Been browsing this thread on and off and I must have missed the actual TSB# for this issue.
Can someone post it up so I can reference it at my dealer?
Side note: maybe add a running thread with all known TSB #'s and link to it in the sticky
