I did this test because a user earlier in this thread said this how he wanted to use them in response to my first test with windows up and A/C on.

Damned if I do, damned if I don't I guess.

Well I thank you for doing the testing I needed!

Default Status Update

Did not get joint call with TimW and Ford in last week, hoping tomorrow or so to get a 3-way to discuss the issues after the TSB announcement/install some of you are having.

I am also asking the Moderator to consider changing the "Poll" to reflect more currently numbers as to how many people are satisfied with their cooling, how many got the TSB installed and, of those how many are pleased/unhappy or undecided as to their performance and how many are voluntarily holding back getting the TSB installed.....will work out the specifics. What do you folks think about doing that!? Just trying to reflect reality a bit and allow more attention to be called to instances where the TSB failed you or your expectations......Thanks....

Potential poll options only for those who've had the TSB performed (requires multiple selections)

- do you notice ANY improvement wrt the unit no longer heating the lower lumbar area?
- do you feel ANY cooling of the lower lumbar section of the seat?
- do you think the cooling solution as implemented is adequate?

You might think of other options but those three are of importance to me. My answers would be Yes, Yes, No way!

Good suggestions Neffster...like I said, this was a 2am brainstorm to change the poll....have to see what moderator says as to how complex we can get vs. just the "single selection" version up there now.....and IF we can make that change at this point vs. a new thread.....do not want to do THAT.....smile... Trying to get factual data from Forum folks to put perspective on our discussions with Ford team.....trying to leverage our direct channel we have to get them real numbers....satisfaction and experience data.

I am wondering if we should go to a survey monkey or Google docs based survey instead. That way we can ask multiple questions instead of just one.

That would be excellent, then you could include other year models.

Again, good ideas......I am going to see how far the Forum facility can stretch and, if we need to, link to a specialized survey function to gather more data. Wanted to keep it intact if possible to the thread just so everyone has a simple way to record their results.....we will do what it takes to get 'er done.....smile.
