I took my truck in for it to be fixed the dealer said that everything was fine and couldn't replicate the issue so they gave it back , but the problem is not fixed.

So I finally recieved a call back from the Missouri rep and she went ahead and escalated my case so a field tech could look at it. I tried to tell her that my truck is doing the same thing all the others are but she insisted that this was the only option. They are not sure if my truck has the same issue as all the others ha.

I got really frustrated when she acts like my truck is the only one with the issue. There are numerous complaints and I guarantee Ford is completely aware that every 2015 with the cooled seats have the same issue. I understand that it all comes down to money and they don't want to fix every truck so that is making me nervous.

I picked my truck up at the beginning is April and the seats have never worked right. I also asked her if Ford is selling the trucks on the lot claiming the seats work and they don't believe every truck is effected. I honestly do not believe the seats will ever be fixed. They are going to try a software update first and I would bet that the seat backs will be programmed to cycle off after 5 to 10 minutes. After that, the seats won't get as hot and they can claim they are working as designed.

Default Cooling Seats - Are Your Seat Backs Working Properly?

There are better things coming. A true date isn't public yet and if I was in their shoes I wouldn't have even said what they have about timeline. Until parts are boxed and in stock at distribution centers anything could cause a delay. I have been there and had to beg for forgiveness when my injection machine went down unexpectedly.

Deep breath and honestly I don't understand why people are taking their trucks in for this when they know it isn't out yet. We wonder why our trucks cost so much? All of the visits that we make when we know it isn't time is jacking up the prices. Ford doesn't eat that it gets rolled into buy prices.

The rep I talked to said my truck had to be looked at before a fix could be approved. I agree, it is redic to take the truck in but the rep I have been talking to since may said that was the only way to get it fixed. Hopefully it won't be like that for each truck?

I loved the heat map I saw in some of the posts... That was cool.. I wish I had tools to do this..

I have about 2500K miles on my truck in a month and too be honest, I thought the entire time the cooling seats were just the bottom.. Thanks for the board, I know differently

What do we feel will be the proper procedure to get this fixed?

And my dealer is 60+ miles away, so it's annoying to pop over there..

Subscribed for a fix. My Lariat is 3 weeks old and is in the same boat with the seat backs not working.

Nick from WBTV channel 3 has contacted me, and they are going to come out and look at my truck and film the seat heating up. Should happen this week, I'll post more when I know more.

I did tell him about the latest news from Ford, and an estimated late September / early October TSB.

I'm sure the news channel will be in contact with Ford.

Any other local owners want to stop by my house for the taping? It would be great to have several with this probelm on site.
