Default Well Said

My sentiments echoed exactly. I'm going to let my dealership know today (I took deliver just a few days ago), and my salesman should remember my telling him how I was lured to the F150 (previously a Tundra guy) by the AC seats, because I find I've been sweating a lot in my "older" age any time I'm in a warm car with leather seats. I am sold on the F150 for many other reasons now, but the fact my seats do not function properly is quite a big disappointment.

As will I. As well as my truck. And I will continue to recommend the new F series to anybody willing to listen. I'll take a F150 with faulty cooled seats over any other brand of truck any day of the week. I just don't like feeling like they know I'm not going anywhere. They just need to know if a fix doesn't come out within a few months there's going to be some very unhappy people.

I'm starting to think that as well. Got a call yesterday from the "assistant" to my RCSM Dawn, just following up on my previous calls to her. During the course of the conversation she looked at my file and mentioned my concerns about the cooling seats and said....."at this time Ford engineers have determined that the seats are working as designed and there is no further action". WHAT??????? I preceded to tell her in a nice but somewhat sarcastic way that she does not have the latest info and in the future should have the most up to date info when calling me. I mentioned what I read in this forum from another Ford CS rep about the TSB being issued this month and Ford engineers acknowledging there is a problem and are working on a fix. She played dumb and said she would keep a watch out if that is issued.....What a dumbass.

Does anyone think it's time to get a lawyer involved? I know it's not a huge deal the seats don't work but it is an option that we paid for. I'm getting really tired of no response and the fact that they are still trying to tell people they are operating as designed. I know others have spent countless hours of their own time trying to come up with a fix and they shouldnt have to do that. I hate to start talking lawyers because we would get a fraction of any settlement but maybe that would get the process expedited? I was supposed to get a call back from the rep I was talking to on Aug 20th and I've tried calling and still haven't heard anything. I'm really more worried that the issue won't ever get fixed and they will just turn the backs off. That's just my .02 tho

I have tried calling Tommy several times since he last informed of the parts that were going to be shipped out on Aug 24-25.

I last spoke to him on Aug 19 when he gave me that information. He was going to call back the following week to let me know if he was able to get me a part. He never called back. I called and left a message on Aug 28. Thursday are his off day. No call back on Monday. I called today too. No answer. I had to leave another message.

Tommy is supposedly over Texas. If any other Texas people would like his number let me know. Maybe we can flood his inbox. Not that it would matter.

My driver seat now has no cooling top or on the bottom. Would someone please post how to open the back of the seats. I found some type of elastic band on the bottom of the seat connected to back panel but can't seem to get them loose.

Expect a recall from Ford by the end of September/ start of October. Ford is aware of the issue and will get the fix out soon per my dealership representatives.

I'm in Texas and I got Dawn as my RCSM. When I first called in I got Jason and he said he was it. Dawn called me and said she is it now. Whatever....... . I think this is bogus on having a dedicated RCSM. It appears luck of the draw who you get.
