I just heard back from my Ford Regional Service Manager and they have offered to give me a PremiumCare Extended Service Plan for free as a measure of goodwill. They have said that Ford is still working on a solution and I will be notified once a fix has been found.
5 yr. 75,000 $100.00 deductible with no first day rental.............................
They did the same for me.........................

If they really gave a sh** about cooling your back this seat would not be in our trucks in the first place.

Cooling Seats - Are Your Seat Backs Working Properly?
I finally made an appointment for my truck to be documented. My service advisor is probably going to be cranky with me when I watch over their shoulders for ever step. I could probably give hem a lesson on how to open the seat and take measurements too.
Truck goes in on the 19th. It will be a horrible 45 min drive as my back gets hotter and hotter the whole way.

I told my dealer that I will not even bring mine in till they have the TSB on how to fix it. And to call me when they have it.. Just checked my phone, no message yet.

a co-worker has been looking at 2015 platinums and was about to pull the trigger on one this evening. I told him about the seat cooling issues and told him about the forums and everybody talking about it. He called his dealer and spoke to him, dealer of course said it is not an issue and that the 2015's only come with air conditioned bottoms, not the backs of the seats. I took him outside and showed him my 2015 and the temperature readings we took with the heat gun, he was in TOTAL SHOCK!!! he called the dealer back and is basically not going to buy the truck at all now, I think FORD will begin seeing more and more of this as the word gets out to people in the market for new f150 and have to make a move from their end. The dealer told my co-worker that he had no idea of this issue and that he was going out right now to test one of the ones on his lot. Curious to see what he says...

So I don't want to miss out on this. Was everyone that had called and complained offered the extended warranty or was it for people who filed complaints with the nhtsa?

I want you to all know it takes WEEKS or MONTHS to tool up to make plastic parts. I had a new product done an prototyped but couldn't release it for 2 months while I waited for tooling to be done. Also don't forget they have to figure out everything including what box and label the parts go into.
And NO I have not turned to the dark side! Just making sure everyone understands what it truly takes to launch something of this scale!

This is my way of getting in-line for parts when they come out. I trust that Ford will get this right. They nailed a lot of other features and this will get fixed. Heck guys if you think about it I am an Automotive Engineer that owns a design firm. We have a 3D printer and I had a team of 1 person on my development. I rocked out a solution in a few weeks and implemented a test plan with others.

From what I've read there seems to still be a lot of let's just sweep this under the rug and hope it doesn't get into the news and hurt sales.
A person said yesterday on another thread on here that they just had the fix done in their truck. What fix?
Is it really that hard for Fords to tell a trusted employee to go get in a 2015 truck take a ride and turn the seat cooling on high and drive around for a hour and report back.
