The hot air coming out the bottom is very noticeable with the way I vented it now. You can feel the hot air blowing out! Trouble is there isn't a clear path outside the seat as it sits now.

I know nothing about 3d printers or the programming involved, but can you continue to use the printer to create an exhaust extension that connects to the part you already created? It would be thin walled compared to the insulation wrap.

Default Cooling Seats - Are Your Seat Backs Working Properly?

I got in mine and out something together to keep the hose from kinking when the seat lumbar supports inflate. See pictures. I have unrestricted airflow now. However it still isn't cold really. So as stated in all the posts it appears to be an intake and exhaust issue. My money is more on the intake because as long as it is blowing cold air your back will be cool. It wouldn't be circulating the hot air.

Basically I use a 3D CAD software that runs around $6k to draw it first then I have to send it to the printer. There are some tricks to printing but in theory I could print the tube and everything. I am trying to use an off the shelf tube (might try smurf tube) so that it is easier to make.

To put it in perspective the exhaust add-on takes just over 1 hour to print one part. So if I had to print one for everyone here think of the time it would take!! Adding 3D printed tubes would just be more time.

So the quick version of how a 3D printer works. It prints a layer then the bed drops down and prints another layer. Each layer is around 2 pieces of paper thick!

Due to all of the talk about the intake side I am currently printing a part to convert that to a hose as well. This part is way more complex and takes twice as long to print. Hopefully I am not far off on the design.

OK I have the guys I need. So changing this post

The exhaust is designed so that you only remove the two T7 screws near the heatsink output. You then reuse the screws to put my part on. From there I just ran some pipe insulation that measures around 3/4" inside.

OK guys and gals. I purposely got rid of a few of my pictures on here incase the FORD people wanted to "borrow" my idea. I don't want them to use my solution if they are already working on one. Also if my solution is awesome it sure would be nice to negotiate with FORD to help them out....

I will be sending a few samples out to people that already sent me messages. I can not take any more request for parts at this time until this stage gets worked out and hopefully FORD can make them instead of me running my printer all the time.

I will keep you up to date with my testing and how the INTAKE add-on goes.
