Cooling Seats issue and TSB feedback

No-one is perfect, Am I disappointed by Fords lack of R&D and thorough testing of all of their features? Absolutely, this should have been picked up on before full scale production. BUT, they are admitting to a problem and fixing it.
To be honest a lot of you are WAY too picky, yes it is crazy to have a 50-60k truck have issues with something as seemingly simple as seat coolers. But on the other hand you bought a first year vehicle, first year vehicles ALWAYS have problems, ALWAYS. It is a well known fact and if you are not willing to risk some inconveniences from growing pains DONT BUY A FIRST YEAR MODEL! Unfortunately it is an assumed risk that you take when buying a first year model run, especially when they are job 1 vehicles. That being said, I am still hoping when my order comes in that my truck works fine, but if the seat coolers are not properly functioning then I will wait for the engineers to come up with a fix, or make a temporary one of my own until they do.
BTW, has anyone looked to see if the seat duct from the previous f150's will fit (possibly with some modification) into the 2015 seat back?

plus its actually smaller overall in
hopefully they can put in a vent or a fix before we order the 2016.
frankly the seat thickness or lack of and the headrest major size reduction is a BIG issue for me being over 6'3" and 240 lbs

you do know this same seat assembly is used in several other ford vehicles, that's why its smaller than the 2014 in thickness and the head rest is tiny compared to 2014 models, its also being used in the edge, superduty and expedition and navigators as well

Same exact problem here. Bottom cools, but back gets hot. I've had mine since January and live in Texas so need those seat coolers to work! Taking it in on Wednesday, but not expecting a fix for it based on everyone's comments...

Its so efficient in the way it heats we've stopped using our stove 3 weeks ago. It has a much better heating capability than our expensive gas range. The grease all over the moon roof is easy to clean off as well from the burgers and steaks we've been cooking. So well this we've cleaned out all the meat from the freezer.

Safety notice when heating up canned food in your seat backs you must put a hole in the can's lid for the steam to excape or the can will explode!! And this damage will not be covered under your warranty.

I'm happy to hear you are getting some enjoyment from your cooled seats. Even more than I was thinking of. As my plan was to just heat up those meals in a plastic bag. But just thinking of the smell of those stakes cooking while driving had me thinking about picking up a few for my ride to the cottage tomorrow. I'll be going up alone so I'll have the passenger seat set to high cool so the steaks will be done when I get there. Think I'll throw a can of beans in there also!
Im inclined to just take the seat apart and just make a permanent cooker. Hell it could work as a incubator for eggs if managed properly.
