Default Convex blind spot side mirror with BLIS system

Hello... I have a 2018 Lariat with the BLIS system. However, I really don't like it, I would prefer the convex blind spot mirror instead. I just don't like relying on a little light to tell me if there's a car in my blind spot and I don't tow a trailer. I am wondering if I can get the factory side mirror glass and easily replace what I have, but be able to change it back later if I trade in. Does anyone have any ideas?

You can swap out the mirror heads, but don't know what it will do if the lights aren't there, if it will throw an error. I too miss the convex I had on my 14, but after a while I got used to it, and BLIS does come in handy at times.

You could buy a set of small stick on convex mirrors and have both.

Change the lens and put in a resistor to trick the truck into thinking its turning a light on/off

Wife went from a 14 Escape with the smaller mirror and got 17 escape with Bliss. She too hates the mirrors. I had to get a stick on.

You can get the tow mirrors. Best of both worlds.

I put a convex mirror on mine, lower left corner. Works great. I would love to step up to tow mirrors w/BLIS, but the cost is prohibitive.

Apparently the RM10 Blind Spot Mirror Stick ons work really well on our trucks. They're made for a Ram but fit the contours of the 13th gen F150 mirrors really well.
