Is the console shift gear indicator supposed to illuminate?

ALL RIIIIIIGHT! Thanks a lot. Looking forward to it. Also once there. want to order the bulb to have the PRNDM lighted at night. Looks really weird without it. Never saw how to glue it, but once I receive the light will inquire what kind of glue to use. Thanks again brother.

I just ended up using Graphite powder as a lubricant. It's actually the first time I found a use for it. If I remember correctly my father used for his car's door locks over 20 years ago. That's the only reason I have it.
You probably will think of something better. I just didn't have anything else, that wasn't going to make my interior smell like lubricant for god knows how long.
I wasn't sure about using superglue. It's pretty thin in that area and I was afraid of it distorting or eating thru the plastic.
It's been two months now and it doesn't sound like a hardwood floor of a 100 year old house..
