No doubt a 6.7 is impressive. I want a gas, though, because I plan to run it well beyond the warranty and am not comfortable with potential out of warranty diesel repairs.
We have towed 7 different TT with my 460 and its 3 gears and never felt underpowered. I am sure I will be pleased with a 6.2, 6 gears, and 4:30 diffs....I won't consider 3:73's.

Yeah, I'm pretty stoked. The torque of the PSD is just off the hook. It literally throws you back. Kids were laughing there ***** off.

Not a bad choice. I looked at those too but they are pretty dang big, and I'm leery of the maintenance and repair costs. Course, get an extended warranty and that's not an issue. It sure will be a towing monster, and will handle everything you throw at it. For me it just came down to the Lariat HDPP having what I needed and wanted, and I felt it would be a superior DD. I also enjoyed custom ordering it.

Just for interest I just looked at a base Screw Lariat short box. It had a payload of 1804 pounds this was a Canadian spec. truck.

What kind of MPG hit does the 3.73 rear end cause with the HDPP on your Larait? I will towing a TT with a much lower weight but the HDPP would take any guess work out of the equation.
