Default Consensus--2018's Needing 5100's

So with the people out there with the new 2018's with the revised rear shocks (not sure on front) how does it compare to the 16-17?

Does the 2018 still have the axle hop and shutter going over wash-boards, and needing the 5100's to calm the rear down as before?

Mine feels planted on all roads and in bumpy corners. No complaints at all.

Coming from a 16 to the 18, much more plush and I notice the rear doesnt "bounce"

I also have a 6.5" bed though, not sure if that makes a huge difference

Interestingly enough, I have a 17 and have yet to experience the issue many have stated they have.

I also haven't had any issues with my 2015. I would even venture to say it's grounded to the ground.

My 2017 feels planted and even more stable after Ford Performance 2" lowering shackles. OEM 2018 shocks are $57 on Ford parts website though......dont think I havent checked on them!!!!

I went from a 2015 Platinum to a 2018 Platinum. The 18 has a way improved ride. It will hold a corner so much better the wife can tell as a passenger. When 50 was too fast for a bend it now feels very stable at the 50 in the same bend. I would not want to mess with anything since the ride is so good now. They changed something!
