I do think my 2011 was a factory freak. I could get up to 28 MPG at 60 mph on flat ground easy. 24 with small changes in elevation.
This 2016 feels like its being held back. Sport mode is definitely better.
I notice in normal mode the Boost gauges shows little to no boost. So I assume they've tuned these to use less boost for fuel savings.
I also noticed our 2013 Escape with the 2.0 EB also felt tight until about 5K miles. So I'm hoping once its broken-in and I switch to Pennzoil Plat Synthetic it runs better. If not, I really hate to tune such an expensive truck.
