Color Interior lights only work at night now?

My multicolor interior lights are only coming on at night now when the headlights kick on? I haven't changed any options, I have my autobeams and day running lights on.. but they only light up if they come on for dark lighting. I checked the manual but nothing...

Mine only work with the headlights on as well. Seems to be that way by design. I don't really notice mine unless it's dark enough for headlights anyway since they're not that bright in daylight.

I wouldn't expect the ambient lighting to be on during the day. No real benefit.

****, im losing my mind then. I could have swore each time im in my truck, my ambient lighting is on...or was on..

Same here. Even if I turn on my headlights they don't come on until dark so I think they are tied to the Auto-Headlight sensor.

Wouldn't be very ambient in broad daylight lol.
