If you look I believe your15+ pulls air from a high pressure area above and in front of the radiator be hard to improve on that, might gain some intake drone but no power or MPG. put your money where it will benefit like the gas tank.

Most of the quality aftermarket cold air intakes still draw in cold air from the same location as factory. The only actual improvement I could see is the larger intake tube, plus not having the air silencers might free up a few hp. Not to mention they look a lot cooler...

Most new air intakes are properly designed and are hard to actually improve upon. I doubt you would see any gains from doing an intake. It'll sound more aggressive and look nice, but that's about it. Filters for these trucks are cheap too.
The best example I have is on my 2006 subaru legacy turbo, I ran the stock intake from a base of 195 WHP up to over 314 WHP. My tuner said don't even bother installing an aftermarket, you wont see any gains. That intake was tiny compared to the one on our trucks.

If you want it for looks get it. Just keep in mind that the 5.0 and 6.2 in the Super duty use the same air cleaner. The air flow is about as good as it gets. Any gains in horsepower on kits I've installed has been at wide open throttle. I did get a pretty good feel for more power when towing a trailer up a 6 % grade in 3rd and 4th gear, but the noise got to be obnoxious. So if you don't tow and have a couple of on ramps that wot is necessary, go for it. I'll be getting one for my 5.0, just have to decide which one. And I'm on the fence regarding wet or dry filter.
