Cleaning Products
What's everyone's favorites? There are so many options on the market it's not even funny.
Favorite products for washing, wheels and other "chrome", quick detail sprays, sealant or wax, etc. Trying to decide what I want to do to keep up with the truck. In regards to KR leather, does it require special products or any quality cleaner/codnitioners? Color is blue jeans if that makes a diference in choice for wax/sealants... |
Meguiars, don't know if it's the best, but works for me.

I use Mother's for wax and detailing spray. I think I have Mother's car wash soap as well. Seems to work for me. Other's on here have used Chemical Bros. products and have been really happy with them. I bought the Mother's clay bar kit and I was amazed at what was coming off the truck and how the paint felt afterwards. Not something you need to do all the time but I did it initially then put down a good coat of wax. Paint seems to stay smoother, longer. I probably should have done some type of sealant but I didn't. I'm not a car wash pro.
For KR leather, I used Duragloss 222 that I bought from Amazon. A lot less expensive than the KR brand leather conditioner and just as effective. Smells good, too. You can find Duragloss 221 or 222. The only difference is the size of the container. I bought the 222 and I think it's either a quart or liter. It's thin and covers a large area so it will last. Some people will say it needs to be done every 6 months or so but like anything, it depends on your climate and use. The information regarding Duragloss 221/222 was given to me from @DavidKey on these forums. I don't want to take credit for the product like I found it. |
Mothers and Mequires are great for cleaning, the best wax I have ever used is Collinite 476. Goes on easy and off the same, cannot believe the results just give it a try.

Wait for a good down-pour, and drive really fast...
But seriously, I've had good luck with Zaino Bros. products. Just google it for their website. |
