Cheyenne Super 10 Builds.. what about F150?
I'm sure a lot of y'all have seen these Cheyenne Super 10 builds that a dealer (or two?) are throwing together. I'm totally enamored with these things, and IMO, they were executed beautifully. So.. has anyone pulled the same stunt with a late model F150, throwing some 70's flare on one? A quick google or two didn't yield much.

I need to learn photoshop. A couple of classic two-tone schemes from 79', courtesy blueovaltrucks.com. The brown & tan would be awesome I think.

Sorry, but I see it just the opposite. That retro Chevy just looks terrible in my opinion. When I see that retro look it reminds me of the rust bucket Chevy I had back in those days. Mine was brown and white and thank heaven it had the brown to cover all of the surface rust. I had a whopping 175 horsepower out of a 350 cubic inch V8 that overheated pulling my boat on any grade. When I see this truck I think of a company that is looking for any angle to sell their brand that is loosing ground every year to the competition. Hopefully Ford is smart enough to steer clear of that mess.

Not impressed. They threw a paint job (or is that crap vinyl?) on a truck and, I'm sure, upcharged the hell out of it. If they really wanted a look-alike, things like changing the grille, bumpers, etc. would have been nice.
And, still, the wheel wells are square.

Not cheap...
They had two of those at the auto show last week. One was orange, the other was dark brown.
At first glance, they were interesting. The look brought me back to a friend's truck in green and white (and a lot of rust) and we had and orange one too. The white wagon wheels were interesting too - have not seen them on a truck in a long time.
After that, they were about 9500 bucks in aftermarket work. The white / pinstripes are vinyl decals. And it's still a Chevy when it's all said and done. And it reminded me of all the rust. My god the rust!

Yep I like them. Worked on a farm as a kid that had one identical to the green and white one. Like everyone else said the rust was horrible on those, but I just like the old retro look. Wish I could find a set of rims that are the orange one for my truck, maybe someone will do some photo shopping of those on a ingot silver truck. (hint hint please..)
