Check engine light issues. Dropped at dealer

I’m not trying to bash anyone’s truck but for the life of me I can’t see why someone would want a 2.7L engine in a full size truck especially when you can get a 5.0 that essentially gets the same gas mileage.

Got the truck back a few minutes ago. Driving home now. So far so good.

If the engine drops raw fuel into the converter, it's toast. Sounds like that may have happened here.

I'd go with Hixson. There is one in Leesville & Alexandria

Thanks for posting the details of the turbo replacement. My '14 goes in tomorrow for a new drivers side turbo (rattle noise at 2200rpm, only under light acceleration).
Glad they got your truck all fixed up.

So far so good. I've been getting hours of road time since I got it back. I wanted to make sure it was up to a couple across state trips.

I'm having the same issue. When the lights on the remote start won't work. The light has come on and off for the last week. Strange thing, I found this out by a mistake. I was on the phone with the wife in a parking lot, truck running and in drive. I went to hang up the call on the steering wheel and spaced and pushed the fob on the dash and turned the truck off. I got the warning that the truck was not in park, when I put the truck in park and restarted the truck the light went out. I think it has something to do with the transmission censer that knows the truck is in gear or not. If that is the case that is why it wont auto start.
