Check Engine Light
You need to know exactly what DTC is causing the CEL. O2 sensors haven't been a big issue on the 2.7L Ecoboost. However there are some other known issues that can cause a CEL.
Have the dealer retrieve the DTC or if you have the ability to do so I will gladly look for TSBs & SSMs for you.

The CEL error is P2629
That's why you should never make assumptions on why the CEL is on without knowing the exact DTC. As I mentioned previously O2 sensors haven't been a reoccurring issue with the 2.7L. However in your case that code is for the O2 Sensor Circuit (Bank 2 Sensor 1). If your under warranty, I would suggest going to the dealer and let them diagnose why the DTC is stored.
P2629 - O2 Sensor Positive Current Trim Circuit/Open (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
Description: During deceleration fuel shut-off (DFSO) the PCM monitors the integrity of the UO2SPCT21 circuit by comparing the actual oxygen sensor voltage signal to an expected oxygen sensor voltage signal. This DTC sets when the actual oxygen sensor voltage exceeds the maximum expected voltage threshold for a specified amount of time.
Possible Causes:
Corrosion
Incorrect connections
UO2SPCT21 circuit open

Woke up this morning to more errors. Brake and CEL warnings. My initial confusion was that the Ford Alert that was sent to my phone said it detected a misfire, but the DTC said O2. Didn't wait for appointment. Brought straight to the dealer. We'll see what they say!

First day they said the "Check Engine Light Guy" was busy and might not get to it. Next day they said it needed a new sensor, but they had to order. Once the part was there, they couldn't install until Monday morning, cause the O2 sensor guy didn't work weekends. I'm not making any of this up. You'd think the CEL guy could also be the O2 guy.
Unless they're doing something different with O2 sensors nowadays, but the fact they have "a guy" to change them is laughable!
An O2 sensor swap should be an easy task for anyone employed as a mechanic..
