Default Changing gas tank question

Those of you who have upgraded their tank size from 23 gallons to 36, what did you do with your old tank? Is it worth any money? Is there interest out there for people to buy them?

Have a pretty good price offered by my dealer to swap, but wondering if theold tank is worth anything to offset some of the costs.

THanks!

I'm just guessing you won't see a big return on the old tank. Might be an ebay sale or something along that lines... If you have a good offer I think I would just take that route. Just my thoughts.

Thanks. I meant good offer for new tank. They don't want the old one.

It's not need, but want. Some have the 23 gal. tank and they want the 36 gal. tank. Though I suppose there may be some that have the 23 gal. tank and actually need the 36 gal. tank.

$1200 ... Doesn't seem unreasonable for such an upgrade for the TT puller. My dealer quoted $1000 on my 2016 F150 XLT

Seemed pretty clear the OP was asking value of his old 23 gallon tank.

FYI - per posts on this forum, I've never seen anyone successfully update DTE, the dealers advise that they cannot - UNLESS you copy code from an identical truck except for tank size.
