Default Changed spark plugs

changed plugs today. Seemed easy enough for my first change. I unhooked the battery so it's relearning but I notice a buzzing the seemed to go away after warmup. I didn't use dielectric grease so maybe I need to go back and put some on. Do you all use dielectric grease for new plugs? I did use some antiseeze but that's it. Nothing seemed to tight or gave me any issues so I'm hoping the relearn is what I'm hearing maybe? Should I go back and use dielectric on the boots? I bought real time charts with the torque pro and created a graph for misfire for which I didn't see any nor did the test drive do anything odd.

Longer test drive and no buzzing. All good, just wondering about dielectric grease

Better safe than sorry, plus easier on the mind that worrying about the next change. I'd pull the coils and hit them up.

Will do, I'm sure in don't need to be in a hurry. Do the boots get worn out taking them off and on?

Popped off the boats and put a pea sized blob in the boot and torqued em down.

Easy stuff!

Got to do the transmission fluid/filter, rear diff and change out shocks then I'll be ready for a long trip.

There's mixed opinions on the subject. Dielectric grease is not a conductor so it can actually make an electrical connection worse. However is it good for sealing connections to prevent debris and moisture from getting in there. Applied correctly it is beneficial. Putting the anti-seize on the threads is a life saver on the old 5.4L engines, I'll do the same for my 5.0L when its time for some new plugs.

Yeah, I used a very small amount. Hopefully the next change will be as quick and easy as this one.

Plugs were pretty black but not too bad. Probably could've gotten more out of them but for 40, not too expensive
