Default Changed my spark plugs

This is at 92K miles. I switched to NGK and I am tuned to run 93 Octane. Havent fired it up yet because it was 30 degrees outside and was itching to get back in the house. Hope everything worked well. I did not use any anti seize or dielectric grease because ngk says they should be good to go in the package and they material used is good enough.

Excellent. Any issues encountered during the change? Any tips and/or tricks for the rest of us?

It's simple really. I swear the hardest part was getting the clips off the ignition coils. I would suggest getting a plastic pry tool instead of using a screw driver so the connector wont break if your having a tough time trying to pull the connector out the coil. I spent more time doing that then replacing the spark plugs which I thought would be hard to come out but wasnt . The passenger side wasn't bad as long as you have a 6 inch extension and its enough room you shouldn't have to take anything apart. The 3rd one on the passenger side is kind of tight because you have wires and hoses in the way but its doable. You have to make sure you pay close attention how your turning your ratchet so your not stripping the thread on that 3rd one. I would hand tighten them first with with the extension as it gives you a better feel then use the torque wrench to tighten.

And honestly I didn't use the torque wrench I just used my regular ratchet and was careful enough to not overtighten. no issues.

I keep saying ima change out the plugs on my TT Hamster but at the moment, I'm letting a friend use my backup ride, a Misubichi Outlander Sport so I'll hold off until I get it back. Even then, my lazy *** probably won't get it done and I'll end up throwing the plugs in the glovebox for the next owner when I sell/trade it. Hahahaha.

Those look about the same as when I did mine at 95k. Honestly I didn't notice any "seat of the pants" difference. I'm running Oz Omega tune.

Im omega tuned as well and I know what you mean. I will say though it does drive more smoother. I remember sometimes my car would stutter during the gears. Did a test drive on the way for about 30 minutes and I didn't feel it at all. Also my exhaust doesn't pop like it once did which I believe did more harm than good.

NGK and other brands have been using an anti-sieze plating for years, but a dab of dielectric grease on the plug porcelain is a best practice and is not part of, or included with NGK plugs. KM
