GMC to Ford

Has anyone removed their center speaker cover on the dash? I am wondering if there has been a change in the mounting. I purchased the dash mount from Built Right Industries. A video of the removal is posted here: https://www.builtrightind.com/produc...015-ford-f-150

I have pried just to the point that it feels like the bezel will break with additional pressure. The tabs will not release, so I am wondering if the design has been changed on 2016.

Nope, not changed. I have removed mine several time...its difficult each time, but I know it will release. Pry way....Pry about a 1/4" from each of the front corners and then same for the rear, closer to the windshield.
