I guess I can anecdotally back this up.... I've had my truck for just short of a month now, and have received three compliments from random women around town (and it's not even black! lol). The sports car on the other hand, receives almost zero attention from the fairer sex unless they are a gearhead themselves.

The sports car really only attracts the attention of other guys. Ironically the most common statement from those guys is "you must get a lot of tail in that thing!"

I never had a Black Ford.. but I did have a Blue 4X4 one back in the days when I was single... and yea.. women did seem to like it.

I also learned they don't call it a "Bed" for no reason!

Not a Ford, but my first truck was a decked out black Dodge Ram. I used to get a lot of compliments on it from both men and women!
