Default Can't get my tires size calibrated with Superchips. Any thoughts?

I purchased a Superchips "FlashCal" sole to calibrate my tire size. I followed the instructions, updated it online and when I attempt to calibrate the tires, I get a prompt "Can't open the vehicle file". Anyone else have this problem? I have a 2015 EB and this is supposed to support trucks up to 2017

I don't know about the FlashCal but I changed mine with Forscan without a problem.

Ok. I have been searching to try and figure it out. Forscan is a little intimidating to me. No ratchets.

Where Can I find some more information on changing the tire size via FORscan? I’m about to put on 275-65R20 size tires.

Search the Forscan thread stickied at the top. Should be a spreadsheet in the thread.

Call Superchips. They were great when i was asking questions. I traded my 2015 for a 2016 and kept the tuner. They just released the tune for the 2016s about 2 months ago. Might not have the 2017s out yet. Mine is a California legal tuner. Might be different for the othr 49 states.

I just had trouble using a flashcal with my 2017 3.5 eco. It kept saying it couldn't communicate with my truck. This is after having 5 Star tuning send me a HP Tuner that didn't work first. Superchips Tech thought maybe my tune was interfering with the speedo calibration process. Finally found where the latest version of Forscan has a module relearn process that allows you to change tire size and remove the wrench lights afterwords. I'm running 285/65r20 BFG K02's and my speedo is matching up perfect with GPS. SUCCESS!

I too did it with FORScan. Easy and free. Took 90 seconds.

Me too. and with the spreadsheet (accessible via the links in the first post in the Forscan thread) I was able to fine tune my tires until they were exactly bang-on.
